Well if you use Twitter or you want to know what Twitter is then I suppose TwitterVision might be a good place to start. Just to quickly explain what Twitter is. Twitter is a cross between text messages, instant chatting and blogging. You can send messages (up to 75 characters) that go out instantly to all the friends in your list. The site will store all your “Tweets” so you can go back and see anything you decided to say. The messages range from how your feeling to what your doing and more. To get a really good idea of how people use it from all over the world I suggest you spend a few minutes at TwitterVision. TwitterVision is a twist on google maps and twitter together. When someone tweets you can see where they are from and the actual message they sent. It’s very voyeuristic and fun at the same time.

If you like TwitterVison then you really must also check out Flickrvision as well we wrote about that just before this and they are very similar. Same thing but with photos added to flickr instead of tweets.

Update! If you own and Apple computer with OSX you can now use TwitterVision and FlickrVision as a screensaver. Yipee. I think this is going to be great TwitterVision & FlickrVision Screensaver
