Now when I first seen this link I thought it was for people who only cook once a month, like men who are lucky enough to have a wife, mother or friend cook most of the time and once in a while they end up cooking but I was wrong. It seems to be a new trend in America with people who want the convenience of microwavable or re-heated dinners but who still want to eat healthy and save money.
To put it simply it’s like this. You cook a whole lot of food on one day a month and then freeze it so you can re-heat the food you cooked throughout the month. This enables families to provide a quick, affordable and healthy meal without having to cook on a daily basis. Sounds like a good idea if you can find food that re-heats well. Well now we have the Onceamonthcook.com website. They have a database of recipes that are freezer friendly and still taste good when re-heated. The site is really well built and looks great as well.
